This was Dillon's last over night scout camp as an 11 year old scout. He will be 12 next month! Since my calling is with the Stake Primary, we got to plan most of the camp and also attend with the boys. I couldn't believe how much fun I had! Those boys were so well behaved and yet so funny at the same time! What a great group of kids!
They set up their own tents, ate dinner, had a fireside, ate smores, and then were able to look through some giant telescopes that were set up for them. It was so cool to see the stars up close! The next day they did a bunch of different stations including lashing, fire building, orienteering, and whittling. The leaders that came to help out were so inspiring and made it so much fun for the boys. I was so glad I could go and be a part of this experience with Dillon.
