School's out for summer!

This year as all of my kids attended a new school, I have had nothing but good things to say about it! All of their teachers were great and exceeded the expectations I had. I love Centennial Elementary! I have no doubt that my kids will have fantastic teachers next year as well! Here's to the start of a fun summer break ahead!

Sunflower farms

Today I was lucky enough to go with Courtney on her first field trip! We went to this neat place called Sunflower Farms in Longmont. First, they planted sunflower seeds in a cup to take home. Then we walked around together and got to explore the farm. There were alot of different animals to feed and pet, a zip line to ride on, tree houses to play in, and it was all kid friendly and alot of fun! The thing Courtney liked the very best was feeding the goats! (hence all the goat pictures) She thought they were funny eating out of her hand and especially liked the baby ones. We had a great time together and I think she will be talking about all the animals she saw for a long time to come! I am really loving being able to go on all these field trips with my kids. This was the last one for this school year. Thank you Brian for watching Evan so I could spend this special time with my kids. I am forever grateful. Love you!

Mother's Day

These kids are definetly my world! They take up so much time and energy, but in the end I can't imagine being without them. They each have such sweet little personalities and characteristics that I love. So, thanks for everything kids! Thanks for giving me more chances when I mess up, thanks for your unconditional love, thanks for making me smile when no one else can. I love you!

Thank you also to my mom for loving me and for our special friendship. You are an amazing person! I love you!

Thank you also to my mother-in-law. Sharon, I couldn't have asked for a better mother-in-law! I feel so blessed just thinking about all the wonderful examples in my life.

As Courtney sees me...

This year for Mother's Day Courtney made me this doll that looks just like me! Inside she answered some questions about me, and she actually did a great job on most of them! I was surprised how well she knows me! Here is what they said...

Name: Angela
Age: 33
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Brown
Height: 5 ft.
Weight: 60 lbs.
Hobbies: Watching t.v., scrapbooking
Occuptation: Take care of kids
Favorite food: Mexican
Favorite book: I don't know
She hates to... Clean the house
My mother loves me best when... Everyday
My mother looks prettiest when... Everyday
I like being with my mother the most when...
We go to Taco Bell
My favorite thing about my mother is... Always loves me!
If I could give my mother something extra special from me, it would be... a flower

I thought this was a great idea that Courtney's Kindergarten teacher had and I will always treasure it. So cute!

MOTHER

Jacob wrote this poem at school for Mother's Day. I love it!

Mom you are
Oh so sweet
To the
Heart warming touch for
Everyone around you is
Rocked with your warmth and kindness with love

Field Day at Centennial

Today was field day at Centennial and the kids had a great time despite it being pretty windy and cold! There were alot of fun games to play and then the firemen came and sprayed them all with water! They suddenly didn't seem to care that it was cold and windy anymore and just loved being in the water. These are some of my favorite pics from the day.

Centennial Village

Jacob went on a field trip to the Centennial Village Museum in Greeley today. I went along as a parent helper and it was very interesting. We saw alot of old houses and heard some great stories from the ladies that worked there. It was a little cold, but that didn't stop us from having a great time! Here are some pictures of our day. (The bottom left is Jacob's teacher Mrs. Spong, the bottom right is Jacob with his 2 favorite friends from school Bobby and Damon.)
