Sewing Sweetie!

Courtney received her very own sewing machine for her birthday from her Grandparents. She has sewn a little on mine before, but she was thrilled to have one of her own! I am hoping that some of my mom's sewing talents can be passed onto my daughter. What a wonderful talent it is if you can sew!

Cub Scout Klondike

Although this years klondike was cold, unorganized and started late, the boys still had fun at the 3 activities they got to do! The bottom right picture makes me laugh because Dillon shot the ball so hard that he fell over backwards into the snow! He thought it was so funny! He also played pugil and got the chance to shoot a bow and arrow. It was a long morning, but it helped having his best friend along to keep each other occupied!

3rd grade showcase

Dillon had his 3rd grade showcase last Thursday and it was great! He sang, played the recorder and the xylophones too! Grandma and Grandpa K came to see him and we all enjoyed cookies afterwards and saw the neat artwork he has done this year!

Sledding in Utah

One of the highlights for us is to go sledding in Utah. They have some really great hills and we can go with the cousins too! It started getting dark pretty quick after we got there, so here are a few of the pictures we got before it got too bad. Thanks for coming with us Todd, Heather and family! We had a fun time!

Fun with Utah cousins!

Our trip to Utah consisted of alot of fun times with the cousins! They get along so great and it makes me wish we lived closer sometimes. (We will just have to visit more!) We welcomed in the New Year by making lots of noise on the front porch and watching fireworks. We also taught Jacob how to play peanuts and he loved playing with Tyriel! They are getting pretty good! Evan and Jeran were inseparable this trip! They are little buddies! Courtney hung around Ari most of the time and they had fun playing on the computer together. I have to say our kids have the best cousins! The only bad part of our trip is when our whole family got hit with some sort of stomach bug. It went through everyone but Brian and Dillon. I put a picture of Evan sleeping just to show that we did alot of that while we were sick! I am thankful to say that it was a short lived sickness and we are all feeling healthy again. Thanks to Lynn and Sharon for opening up your house to us, feeding us, and entertaining us! We love you!
