More swimming!

We were lucky to go swimming again this week with our friends the Petersen's and the Lucas's. They live about a mile down the street from us and have an outdoor pool in their community. We were practically the only ones there the whole time and it was so nice! We had pizza, pop and snacks and played in the pool for a couple hours before we practically had to run to the car once the wind started to blow. We have had some crazy thunderstorms here! I only got a few pictures of the kids, but here they are!

Day camp!

This past week my boys had day camp for scouts. They always have a good time and love to go and learn new things. They especially love doing archery and BB guns... they are boys after all! :) They also had eagles and owls there this year and Dillon really loved that! Here are a few pictures over the 2 days.

Fun way to keep cool!

Our friends the Lowry's invited us down to go swimming at their family's pool in Arvada. What a fun time we had! The kids played for a few hours and just loved it! All of my kids (with the exception of one), love to be in the water and can't seem to get enough of it! Thanks for the good times Liz! It was a nice break with all the construction we have going on. :)

A needed vacation

This past week we went to Utah to visit with Brian's side of the family. We had a great time! I always feel like I can relax and just enjoy time with family there. This week we played alot of games, jumped on the tramp, swung on the tire swing, relaxed in the hammock, and went to our favorite park. (Of course there were a few other thing that I had to check out while I was there, like Robert's Craft Store and D.I.) Now we are back to reality and getting ready to start on our house remodeling. Thanks again Lynn and Sharon for your hospitality! We love you!

Easy does it...

I let my kids take out the Easy Bake Oven again this summer. (They have been asking every day!) They really enjoy the fact that they can make a treat all by themselves! The hardest part of course is the waiting. When you have 4 hungry kids, I needed to have some "while you wait" snacks! Nevertheless, it was a fun time.
