Camping in Whiterocks

Our favorite campground is by far Whiterocks in Utah. It is so beautiful there and fishing is close to the campground. I took so many pictures, but here I wanted to post a few of my favorite.

Here is Brian, his brother Gerald, and Jacob getting all of their fly fishing stuff set up for the next few days. They caught alot of fish! Also, the kids loved riding around in the back of Gerald's truck to each fishing spot we went to! And yum... tin foil dinners to eat!

One of our favorite little ponds to fish at.... Unitah Pond. This year we didn't catch much here, but the kids got alot of casting practice in!

We all love to play in the stream that runs along our campground. The water is a little cool, but felt so nice when in was hot!

Here we are fly fishing! Brian was so patient with the kids and helped each of them learn how to cast. Jacob had gone before, so he helped the littler kids too. It was so fun to watch them! I even got to try it! I hadn't been fly fishing in a very long time and I really liked it! If you look at some of the pictures, you can see Jacob with some of the fish he caught. I seemed to not have the camera out when the other kids caught theirs, but for a while there they were catching quite a few!

And my favorite picture of the whole trip! I just love that Brian let Evan wear his vest and carry his pole so that he wouldn't be left out. Brian is such a great dad and they are so cute!

What an awesome camping trip! These are great pictures and I love how happy everyone looks! One of my favorite pictures is the one of all four kids in the stream. I just love their smiles and you can see how happy they all are!! What wonderful family memories you have. Love it!

You are such a great mom--getting right in there and fishing. Seriously? I would have NO clue. I feel a scrap page coming of that last pic of Evan and Brian. It is priceless!
