Last night our family went to our wards Harvest Hoedown! We ate yummy chili and pies, played games with the kids, and then went Trunk or Treating. Evan was old enough this year to really get into it. We had a great family night together.
Jacob had been a character from Star Wars for the past couple of years, but really wanted to be Harry Potter this time. I think he made a really cute Harry! I loved the glasses on him!
My mom and I made Dillon's Pac-Man costume. He is continuing his retro kick. (Last year he was Jerry from Tom and Jerry.) He tends to like the older cartoons and characters.
Courtney was a very cute black cat. She wanted to be some kind of animal this year. I think it stems from her love for Littlest Pet Shops. She went around meowing and scratching everyone.
Evan started out just being a chef, but when we added Remy the rat from Ratatouille, he turned into Linguini the chef! Everyone loved his costume and commented on how cute he was in his hat! My mom made the cute oven mitts that went with it and Evan loved having them on!

great blog!! Looks like the kids had fun at the ward activity. :)
looks like a good time! You are very creative with your costumes for the kids. And thanks for inviting me to your blog!
Sweet! I'm glad you joined the blogger world! I'm so glad I get to see you everyday at the school!
Thank you so much for this post. It allowed me to be there for a moment and enjoy it with you.
We only have 20 kids in Primary here and no ward Halloween party of any kind. So, we're trying to find something to do besides trick-or-treat (or neighborhood isn't all that great - it's a little on the creepy side).
But thanks so much for letting me come to your ward party!
So glad you have a blog now!! Your kids sure look cute...we have to do the old trick or treat thing cuz our ward isn't doing a party. I miss Colorado! ;)
