Teenagers...

As some of my friends with teenagers may know, it is hard to get pictures of them... especially when they are smiling! I caught Jacob in a great mood laying out on the grass and I just had to post this one.

He makes me laugh like no one else! I love his sweet smile... He should just want to smile all the time for me when I take his picture, right? I wish.... :) Funny kid. Love him.

#1 Teachers!

I cannot say enough good things about the teachers my kids had this year! They all worked great with my kids and their different personalities and challenges. I feel like they were hand picked for each of them! What a wonderful feeling to have!

Jacob also had some really great teachers this year. (It is a little harder to get pictures of them!) They all worked with him when he was out of school for nearly a month with pneumonia. So thankful for great teachers that care about my kids and want to see them doing their best!

On to 1st grade!

Evan did the cutest little end of the year concert for us! He sang a range of songs from things they had learned throughout the year. What a joy it was to watch him!

He has made so many friends in his class, is excited about learning, and everyone has great things to say about him! I am going to miss him like crazy when he goes on to 1st grade. If I think about it too much, I start to cry! My sweet last baby... growing up so fast!

Way to go, Dillon!

Dillon had his 5th grade tribute and surprised us all by winning the Academic Achievement award! To do this, you had to get all straight A's all year long. I am so proud of him! Way to go Dillon!!! 5th grade and elementary are now over... On to middle school! I hope you continue the great job!

Zhu Zhu BINGO

I caught my kids playing BINGO with their zhu zhu pets. They had them all lined up in a row with cards set out in front of each one. They would yell out a number and help their pets to say "BINGO!" I just love these moments when kids are just being kids....
