Mother's Day

For Mother's Day this year, we had a nice barbeque at my mom's house. Brian grilled brats and dogs, there were my mom's famous baked beans, chips fruit and ice cream for dessert! My mom made all the girls some really cute owl hot pads too! The bottom left picture is of my mom with all her kids and the bottom right picture is me with all my kids. 

I have been thinking alot lately about all the great women in my life. My mom, grandma, sisters, daughter, mother-in-law, sisters-in-laws, step-mom, best friend, friends, etc... They really mean the world to me and I am very thankful for each of them in my life.

A boy and his dog...

I feel like I don't post enough pictures of Dillon. I just love this picture I took of him with his stuffed husky dog. (He would love to have a real husky someday, but for now this life sized one will have to do!) Something about this dog brings out the loving, caring sweet side of Dillon that I just adore. Love this kid to pieces!

Cotton-eyed Joe

Courtney really surprised me when she said that she wanted to dance with her 2 best friends in the upcoming school talent show! Courtney is normally pretty shy and usually keeps to herself and has never danced other than to "Just Dance" on the Wii. She did pretty amazing if you ask me! She was so cute and I loved every minute of it! I was so proud of her for doing something that she had never done before and taking a risk. I sure love my little cotton-eyed Joe cowgirl! Also, my best friend Liz surprised her with flowers when she came home. She felt like a million bucks! (Thanks again Liz!)

Dillon's field day

Dillon had a good time at his 5th grade field day. He did the 3 legged race and the shoe kick with his good friend Chris. If you know Dillon at all, he is not into much of anything where there is a competition so.... I was so proud of him for getting out there and doing his best!

Berry fun!

I had a "Berry" fun day with 2 of my favorite people! We made a ton of freezer jam, laughed alot, and had the best time together! Thanks Kris and Liz for a fun afternoon!
